Antitrust
Hawley Troxell's antitrust attorneys provide a full array of services pertaining to antitrust and unfair competition issues under federal and state law. We regularly counsel our clients about how they may aggressively conduct business while avoiding the pitfalls of anticompetitive practices. When necessary, we vigorously represent our clients in court.
We have successfully represented our clients, both in class actions and actions brought individually, against allegations of boycotting, monopolization, price discrimination, price-fixing, restraint of trade and tying arrangements.
As an example, in a multimillion dollar class action alleging tying in the marketing of subdivisions in the Boise area, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a precedential opinion awarding our client a complete victory against the plaintiffs. Blough v. Holland Realty, Inc., 574 F.3d 1084 (9th Cir. 2009).
