Kristin Bjorkman is a partner in the firm’s banking, business and real estate practice groups. Her practice involves commercial financing (including real estate, equipment and aircraft), and real estate and business transactions. Ms. Bjorkman’s experience includes documenting loan originations for in-state and multi-state secured and unsecured loans, including all aspects of due diligence, while representing a wide variety of lenders and borrowers. She also has extensive experience in the negotiation and drafting of legal opinions on commercial lending laws for both borrowers and lenders. She also has experience with foreclosures, real property and personal property secured loan workouts, including loan restructures, modifications, and forbearances, and lender-owned property dispositions.
In real estate, Ms. Bjorkman has significant experience with representing sellers, buyers, developers, and educational institutions in connection with the acquisition, disposition, development and leasing of commercial and residential property. She negotiates and drafts purchase and sale contracts, leases and subleases, easements, and restrictive covenants, conditions and easements.
