Geoffrey Wardle concentrates his practice in the areas of land use regulation and commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Wardle represents real estate developers in real property transactions, including shopping center acquisition and development, planned community development, residential subdivision acquisition and development, land use regulation, and governmental entitlement.
Mr. Wardle also represents clients in a variety of regulatory and legislative matters, including regulatory proceedings before state and local governmental entities; drafting legislation, ordinances, and rules; and lobbying on behalf of clients. In 2002 he co-authored the bill passed by the Idaho Legislature and signed into law reforming the manner in which impact fees were calculated and assessed.
A frequent lecturer on land use law in Idaho, Chambers USA’s American’s Leading Lawyers for Business recognized Mr. Wardle for his land use practice. In 2003, he was recognized as one of the Idaho Business Review’s Accomplished Under 40 for his land use skill.
In addition, he served as an Assistant Attorney General, State of Ohio, 1996-1997.
