Michelle Gustavson Joins Idaho Women Lawyers Board of Directors

Attorney Michelle Gustavson recently joined the Board of Directors of Idaho Women Lawyers (IWL). Gustavson has been a member of IWL since 2010 and looks forward to assisting the IWL in her new role. The goal of the IWL Board of Directors is to promote equal rights and opportunities for women and minorities within the legal profession, judicial system, and government.

Gustavson is an associate in Hawley Troxell’s business and finance practice group. Among other representation, she has assisted national, state chartered, and community banks in negotiating, documenting, and closing complex commercial loan transactions. She has acted as local counsel for lenders engaged in multi-state, multi-million dollar loan transactions, assisted creditors with consumer and commercial collection matters, and advised health care providers on federal and state compliance issues.

Gustavson graduated first in her class from the University of Idaho College of Law and was the recipient of scholarships and awards, including a University of Idaho Alumni Excellence Award and the College of Law Faculty Award of Legal Achievement.
